The Cottage

Standing amid miles of unspoilt Skye countryside, Trotternish Cottage is overlooked by the towering hills and cliffs of the Trotternish Ridge, while in the other direction, a glimpse of the sea reminds you that you are on an island.  Little traffic passes the cottage, yet the villages of Staffin, Uig and Portrtee are only a few miles away, and hotels and cafes serving hot meals and beverages can be reached in 10 minutes' drive.

The cottage is all one one floor, with ramp access to the front door. Inside, you will find a spacious and well-fitted modern kitchen/dining room and a comfortable triple-aspect lounge with electric stove. The smaller bedroom has a double bed, while the larger bedroom features a single bed as well as a double. There is a shower room, with wash basin, wc and electric shower.

Outside, the cottage has its own fenced garden area including a small patio, but the cottage stands on the owner's 15 acre croft, where sheep, goats and ponies quietly graze. Responsible dog owners are welcome to bring their well-behaved pets.
